Jesus said: "Follow Me"

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector's booth. 'Follow me,' he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. - Matthew 9:9

The hotel has a maximum of 180 rooms that have 2 full size beds in them; rooms will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
For cost considerations we recommend that Chapters/Fellowships assign their members to rooms, 4 per room, at their discretion, and make reservations directly with the hotel.
Our UBF Conference staff will not be involved in room reservations.
For those who are booking personal rooms for less than four people, please ask for rooms with one bed.
Space is limited; Book today!

Unfortunately, the hotel booking is outside our control. However, we have built this small message board to help you ask for a roommate or find a room.
Please post your request to this message board, indicating your name and email, gender, and whether you are looking for a roommate for your room or looking to join a room. Hopefully someone will respond.

A parking garage on the north side of the hotel adjoins both the hotel and convention center. It has three entrances: Hotel Drive; Washington St (one-way eastbound); Adams St (one-way southbound). See the map.
The garage is automated and payment is made when one drives out of it.
Parking fees are $7 per day.
We have received a limited number of parking permits to cover the four days. Please ask about them at check in.
The bottom two floors of the garage have elevator access to the hotel. The other floors have staircases/ramps that lead to the hotel and/or convention center.

Buses will need reserved parking in a downtown Springfield surface lot. Cost: $13.50/day/bus. There is a procedure for buses to get a parking pass and local map with directions to the surface lot; there's also a hotel shuttle that can pick up the driver and bring him/her from the lot to the hotel.

There is a loading zone on Adams St (shared by the hotel and convention center). Buses can use it for loading/unloading people. 2-3 buses can fit there at one time. Chapters using buses should forward their detailed itinerary to a UBF transportation servant, who will coordinate with the hotel. (Use the Contact Us form)

After breakfast on Friday and Saturday there will be Group Bible study.
Want to prepare early? Here are study questions:

  • Matthew 9:1-13 .
  • Luke 9:18-27 .

Group Bible studies will occur in small groups of 6-9 people, located in rooms in the convention center and the hotel. You will be able to name one or two people you would like to be in a group. We will do our best to accommodate your preferences.

You will also be able to select a preference for group type: Undergrad, Gender specific, or Young Couples. Please note your "buddy" preference will take first priority.

Please have your buddies/preferences selected by Monday, June 15, 2015. We will begin arranging the Bible Study Groups on the following day. Any registrations after that will be put into the appropriate first available group. Registration will close June 28, 2015.

If you select Young Couples: Please select the person you want to be in the group with in the first box.

If you have a child/children ages 1-11, please select Parents+Children group, as there will be no child care during group Bible Study time. Members that have selected this category will not be grouped with the other groups - please arrange a personal, private Bible study with your family.

High school and Middle school students will be in their own respective groups.

We cannot guarantee everyone's preferences will be met, but we will do our best to take them into consideration. As much as possible, we would like to mix people from different chapters together so everyone may be able to meet someone new. We hope that your group Bible studies will be a blessed, rewarding and enriching experience.

If you have any questions, special needs or requests regarding Bible study groups, or would like to volunteer to be a Bible teacher, please Contact us.

Yes! We are working with a local ministry called "Noble Call" to provide care for all children ages 1-11. This organization has a heart and passion for little children, and are preparing a spiritual childcare program. Children will read scripture, sing songs, and have other activities to occupy them so that you will be free to focus on what is being taught during the conference.

If your child is under one year, they need not be registered. We are looking into providing a viewing room for all main sessions where mothers may take babies.

Childcare will be available during the main sessions: all lectures, world mission night, guest speaker and mission testimonies on Friday night.
Childcare will NOT be available during: morning devotions, meal times, midday break time, and group Bible study times. It is recommended that families have their own group Bible studies with their children during this time.

Children should be promptly picked up after each general session is over. A late fee of $5 per five minutes will be assessed, increasing to $10 after 15 minutes.

Diapers and extra clothing must be provided to the childcare team for any children that are not potty trained. also, make sure to let us know your cell number, and if your child has any food allergies or other special needs.

No child is to be left unattended in their hotel room. Every child must be supervised by their parents when they are not under the supervision of childcare providers.

Costs and Registering:

Childcare: Cost will be $75 for your first child and an additional $50 per additional sibling. This covers the cost for childcare during all sessions for the entire conference, and does not include food or lodging.Children under 3 eat free. Ages 3-11 should pay an additional $60 for their meals, covering the whole conference.
When you register your child on the online system these fees will be automatically calculated for you. NOTE: Please only register children as members of your group, not as individual registrants. Also, it is not necessary to register children under 1. Please select their age properly to ensure proper billing.

To summarize:

Under 1: No fee, no childcare, no need to register.
Ages 1-2: Childcare fee only: $75 first child, $50 each additional sibling.
Ages 3-11: Childcare fee plus $60 meals: $135 first child, $110 each additional sibling.

Middle School and High School students pay the Youth fee: $150.

More details are coming.

No problem. Please Contact us and we will give you an authorization code to use when registering that allows you to select "Pay In Person" as your payment type. Then when you arrive and pay your registration will be completed.

When you register you will be asked to select one of eight morning devotion locations. These will be limited to 100 people each, and be in different rooms in the convention center. Once 100 people select a given Devotion, it will be closed. This option is provided in case you want to spend your morning devotion together with others, so you will know where to meet. More information about these rooms and meetings will forthcoming. If you would like more information, please Contact us.
